Abstract

160,878. Gardner, F. J. Nov. 25, 1919. Holders for condensed-milk and like cans; stands.-A receptacle a, Fig. 1, for opened tins or jars d of milk, jam, &c. is provided with a cover c and a supporting-ledge b. When it is desired to heat or cool the contents of the tin, the receptacle a is supported in a vessel f, Fig. 3, by means of a fitting f<l> provided with holes f<2>, f<3> and water is poured into the vessel f. The receptacle a may be converted into a strainer by the insertion of a perforated disc.
