[Class 86] [Also in Group XIII] A device for cooling or heating and mixing beverages comprises a vessel 1 having a plunger 2 containing ice or heating means and adapted to displace liquid from the lower to the upper part of the vessel. The plunger may be solid in which case the vessel is heated or cooled externally. Fig. 3 shows a modification in which the device is supported on a stand and the vessel provided with a dispensing tap 7. The plunger may be reciprocated either manually or mechanically.
