Nail and tack extractors.-In a combination tool of the kind in which a nail-extractor is slidably mounted in the handle of a hammer, the jaws of the extractor are at the end of the handle remote from the hammer head, one end of which is formed as a chisel or pry. In the form shown, the head c has a chisel point c<1>, and the nailextractor f has one arm e through the plug d at the end of the tubular handle b and guided by the plunger f<1>. Means may be provided for locking the extractor in its extended or retracted position, and the plunger may be operated by hand by means of an attached pin projecting through a slot in the handle.
