Storing under pressure. - A valved capsule for containing fluids under pressure comprises an internally threaded neck into which is directly screwed a valve-carrying member having one or more indentations enabling it to be screwed home by a key or spanner. As shown, the valve-carrying member is formed with an upstanding annular valve seating a at its inner end and a recess b with a squared end at the other, and has a longitudinal opening c serving as a guide for the valve stem g, which is provided with one or more flats or flutes for the passage of the fluid. A resilient washer e co-operating with the seating a is secured to the valve by a screwed head d, and a serrated head j is provided at the top of the valve stem. The valve-carrying member is screwed directly into the neck of the capsule, a resilient washer m forming a tight joint; its upper part is formed with a conical surface k.
