Abstract

Frame construction.-An under frame for sidecars comprises four girder-like arms constituted by two intersecting diagonally-arranged members, two of the arms being attached to the cycle frame, one to the side-car wheel, while the fourth is a cantilever. The intersecting members A, B,. made of lightened sheet steel, metal tubing, or wood, are preferably flanged, the member B being threaded through and preferably welded to the - member A. Longitudinal members D may be added, and also transverse members such as the axle E and front member E<2> which carry the connecting members E<3>, H, the axle being attached to the frame by brackets and clips and connecting- tubes G being attached to the corner brackets.
