Hydraulic transmission. -Comprises continuouslyvariable friction-disc gearing in which two driving- shafts L are universally jointed at L<1> so that their rear ends may be moved to and fro by hydraulic means in cylinders O to engage and disengage the rollers M with and from the disc. The rollers M are moved along their shafts to vary the gear by hydraulic cylinders P and links M<3>.
