Fuselages; framework. -A sheet-metal body for aircraft, especially adapted for use as a hull, comprises open longitudinal members B and annular members C, D all connected together by the envelope A. The members C are composed of pairs of flanged rings secured back to back; or they may be single members of open profile. The members D are corrugated. The members B and C, D may be secured together at their points of intersection. In long hulls, the metal envelope A may be in sections threaded over the bars B.
