Reservoir nibs.-Series of grooves, or rows of individual dot-shaped cavities, are. arranged at or near the point of the nib in place of the usually ground portion, and are positioned side by side and intersecting one another, and may also be provided on the under surface of the nib. The grooves or cavities may be produced transversely, longitudinally, obliquely, or in wavy form, and are preferably formed by pressing, but may be cut. The depth of individual grooves may vary to increase the elasticity of the nib.
