Dust caps for tyre valves.-A dust cap is secured to the threaded casing of a tyre valve by means of a split spring ring having inwardly bent portions. The cap B is beaded at H to provide a recess to accommodate the split spring ring D the curved ends E, E<1> of which pass through a slot in the casing. The ring is held in place by a foot portion M having a lower flange L and an upper flange N turned over the bead H. The ends E, E<1> are sufficiently far apart to ensure at least one of them engaging the screw-threads whatever the position of the cap. In a modification, two superimposed spring rings are used.
