Casings.-A vacuumjacketed or other glass bottle 2 is supported resiliently in an outer casing 1 by a spring- supported cap 8 at the base and a rubber or other elastic ring 6 mounted over the neck of the casing and embracing the neck 7 of the bottle. The casing neck has a screwthreaded part 3 to receive a drinking-cup and an inwardly sloping part 4 terminating in a rim 5 over which the rubber ring 6 is engaged. The spring support for the base cap 8 consists of spring wire loops 9 set obliquely to ensure lateral resilience, the ends of the wire being secured by struck-out tongues or portions of the base cap.
