Abstract

189,514. Cockerill, J. Aug. 27, 1921. India - rubber stoppers.-A cap closure for bottles and other receptacles, comprises a circular rubber disc a formed on one side with an integral cylindrical flange b adapted to fit down over the neck of the receptacle. The flange b may have in= ternal recesses d, Fig. 4, to fit a bottle neck, or may have an internal ridge for this purpose. A closure for a canister may have the flange plain or shaped as shown in Fig. 1, to suit the canister neck. A edge bead c of circular, rectangular, or other section may be provided on the flange. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 1351/81, 11454/89, and 16268/92.
