Abstract

156,897. Aiolfi, C. Oct. 13, 1919. Glazing.-Frames for skylights are of U-shape and the panes are held to them by means of archshaped plates secured by bolts which have a resilient connection to the frame. The bolt head may be held by double spring plates 12 held by projections 11 in the frame, or by a single spring plate 12 held by projections in the bottom of the frame or by a single resilient flat plate held in grooves in the sides of the frame. The joint is rendered watertight by the insertion of packing between the edges of the frame and the glass between the arch shaped plate and the glass.
