Abstract

380,259. Sash frames. MOSER, C. J., 10, Upper Cheyne Row, Chelsea, and BYSKAN GLAZING, Ltd., Willowbank Wharf, Putney, both in London. Sept. 23, 193], No. 26507. [Class 20 (iii).] A sash frame is formed by cutting and bending a channel-section bar so that the two parallel sides 2, 3, extending from another side 1, may be bent to meet at the ends and joined by means of an inserted piece 7. Sashbars of the kind described in Specification 367,706 are inserted and the glazing is effected by inserting sheets of glass 9 at the bottom, then a crossing bar 15, and then other sheets of glass till complete, when the frame is closed by forcing the sides over the ends of the sash-bars, as described also in Specification 367,706.
