Abstract

170,907. McCrea, W. July 8, 1920. Glazing.-A wooden bar for use in puttyless roof glazing has a channel-shaped capping g of sheet copper &c., the sides of which extend downwards to a point near the glass, and are then bent laterally and finally downwards so that the edges g<1> bear on the glass. The glass rests on shoulders c on either side of the central rib b of the bar: drainage grooves e and asbestos packing strips f are provided in each shoulder.
