Actuating by hand-power; spring-actuating pumps; mountings; single-acting suction-valveless piston pumps; suction reservoirs.-A lubricating pump comprises a horizontal barrel 1 arranged below a reservoir 2 communicating with the barrel through a port 3 normally closed by the piston. The suction stroke is effected by means of a handle 17 and the delivery stroke by a spring 18. The cover 4 of the reservoir has a flaring rim 5 and is held in place by a spring 6. The end of the barrel has a screwed nipple 7 and a nut-shaped section 8 to facilitate mounting.
