155,768. Buckeye Incubator Co., (Assignees of Smith, S. B.). Feb. 12, 1916, [Convention date]. Hatching-appliances. -In order to facilitate turning the eggs in an incubator, the egg-trays 22 are supported on rails 16 of angular cross section, the rails being pivotally connected to upright bars 15 forming two frames suspended at opposite ends of pivoted crossbars 19 so as to be capable of vertical movement to tilt the trays in either direction. Corresponding rails 16 are connected by cross-bars 17. The trays have gauze bottoms and central partitions 24, the eggs being set with the small end downwards so that they fall into a nearly horizontal position, when the trays are tilted. Hot air is supplied by pipes 13 and escapes by a flue 14.
