[Class 132 (i)] Gymnastic apparatus comprises two readily detachable sections which fit together one above the other and when assembled form a whole comprising a padded vaulting top mounted on four outwardly splayed legs, a number of wall bars extending between the legs on each of the longer sides of the apparatus, the lower section having horizontal end members which support a balance beam extending centrally and lengthwise of the section. A third section may be fitted below the lower section, either similar in construction to the upper section or in the form of a box with open top and bottom. The wall bars are preferably of oval section with the greater diameter vertical. As shown in Fig. 2 the upper section 10 has horizontal end members 15 and one pair of wallbars 16, the middle section 11 has end rails 18, end bars 27, and three pairs of wall bars 19, and the lower section 12 has end bars 31 and one pair of wall bars 32. The middle section has also a horizontal balance beam 26 of square section secured to the end rails 18. On assembly, the legs 14, 17 and 28 of the upper middle and lower sections respectively, come into alignment. The joint between each of the leg parts 14 and 17 is notched to receive the end of the top wall bar 19 which thus connects the upper and middle sections. The other wall bars are secured to the legs by pins.
