A foldable stand for a cot C has A-shaped end frames connected by longitudinal bars 16, 17, the apex pivots 20, 21 swingably supporting the upturned ends 26a of a longitudinal bar 26 with pivoted cross members 27, 28 whose ends are also upturned to hold the cot. The latter may be rocked by a wire 38 and pedal 33, or held against movement by a catch 30 engaging a peg 31.
