Sliding seats; seat adjustments.- A sliding seat for a motor-car &c. comprises a seat carried by rods which slide between pairs of rollers supported from the floor. The two rods a are secured to the underside c of the seat by lugs b, each rod taking between two sets of rollers d pivotally carried in brackets f attached to the floor g. To retain the seat in position, a pawl i operated by either of the handles o, n engages in the rack j attached to the floor, a spring p normally tending to keep the pawl in engagement with the rack.
