Abstract

A venturi (2, 5) fed with water under pressure draws in ambient air and sends an emulsion into a volume (6) partly filled with water under pressure P1. A second ejector (9) is placed in the volume (6) and used to saturate water with air at the pressure P1. An outlet pipe (15) through which the saturated water comes out comprises a pressure drop (16) at which desorption bubbles are formed. The device is employed in flotation plants, for example for water purification. <IMAGE>
