1537480 Mineral mining machine cutting chains DOSCO OVERSEAS ENG Ltd 30 Nov 1976 [15 Dec 1975] 51197/75 Heading E1F A mining machine cutter chain link 1 comprises a pair of spaced apart coupling members 4 defining a coupling at one end of the link and a further coupling member 2 at the other end of the link, the coupling member 2 being receivable between the coupling members 4 of an adjoining link. At least one pick box 5 is mounted on the link symmetrically with respect to the longitudinal central axis of the link and has a point attack pick receiving bore inclined towards an end of the link at such an angle that the axis of said bore intersects the axis of the link pin receiving bore at the opposite end of the link.
