Abstract
The internal-gear pump suitable for pressures up to approximately 150 bar is driven via a pinion shaft (14). Between a pinion (15) and a ring gear (16) there is a semicrescent-shaped filler piece (20) capable of limited free movement. The filler piece (20), together with the gear wheels (15, 16), delimits a discharge chamber (19) and, counter to the direction of revolution, with one bearing face (23) bears on a filler-piece pin (21) fixed within the casing. The ring gear (16) is supported, in the region of the discharge chamber (19), directly in the casing (10) by its outer shell surface (17). The distance (x) between the bearing face (23) of the filler piece (20) and the axis (24) of the filler-piece pin (21) is adjustable, in order to ensure that the filler piece (20) rests snugly against the tooth tips of the gear wheels (15, 16), so as to be able to compensate in a simple manner for dimensional deviations and/or production tolerances as well as for play resulting from wear. This means reduced operational and production costs. <IMAGE>
