Abstract

1535315 Windows A A BLOOM [trading as AUTOCON MFG CO] 6 May 1976 [10 Feb 1975] 5483/75 Heading E1R A frame comprises framing of channel cross-section bendable at spaced locations to form a rectangular frame, and having a flange for spacing it from an existing window frame 9, the flange carrying a seal 12 to cooperate with the existing frame 9. Preferably the frame is of double channel crosssection, one channel receiving a pane 8, the web of the other channel 7 effecting spacing. The frame is supported on ferrules (17), 19 mounted on screws (18), 20. One or more pieces may be bent to form a frame, the joint(s) being along the side(s) of the frame.
