Abstract

1533886 Load handling pallet SCHOELLER GmbH & CO KG 19 Feb 1976 [20 Feb 1975] 6618/76 Heading B8H A plastics pallet comprises upper and lower decks 14, 12 welded together along a plane of minimum bending stress. The upper deck has apertures 22 and the portions therebetween have reinforcing ribs 24 to form T-sectioned regions. The ratio of the thickness (b) Fig. 7 (not shown) of the rib 24 to the thickness (h) of the said portions of the deck being 4/3. The upper deck further comprises bearers 36 which may have the ribs 24 extending therethrough and are positioned to four-way entry. The lower deck 12 comprises similar bearers 36 connected by skids 40 to define a window cross. Each skid has longitudinal and transverse ribs (44), (46) Fig. 10 (not shown) and the bearers may also have ribs Fig. 9 (not shown).
