955,035. Load-carrying pallets. REED PAPER GROUP Ltd. Nov. 8, 1962 [Aug. 10, 1961], No. 28948/61. Heading B8H. A pallet made of cardboard or the like consists of feet 2 each attached to a platform 1 by means of a securing strip 4 (Fig. 1) or 4<SP>1</SP> (Fig. 3) which is fitted into a slot 3 in the base of the foot and has foldable flaps 8 (Fig. 1) or 11 (Fig. 3) which pass through a slot or slots 9 in the platform and are secured, e.g. by stapling, to its upper surface. In the Fig. 1 form the feet must be hollow but in the Fig. 3 form it may be solid, e.g. a built-up block formed by concertinafolding a strip.
