1532106 Control of recording XEROX CORP 14 April 1977 [15 April 1976 (3)] 15480/77 Heading G4H Parts of an electrostatigraphic machine are controlled from a data processing unit via interface units having shift registers and decoders, in response to status signals received by the data processing unit, the latter unit being surrounded by a shield through which signals are sent using optical-electric couplers, comparison of successive samples being used in the case of input to the data processing unit.
