Abstract

1530942 Pregnancy testing RAFA LABORATORIES Ltd 21 July 1976 [25 July 1975] 30480/76 Addition to 1350295 Heading G1B A composition, for use in pregnancy testing, consists of human chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG) coupled to avian or camel red blood cells with glutaraldehyde. The composition may be used suspended in a buffer of pH5-8À5, e.g. boric acidsaline solution optionally containing gelatine, or may be tablet or paper strip form. The composition is mixed with anti-HCG serum and body fluid; agglutination of the red blood cells indicates pregnancy.
