1350295 Antisera RAFA LABORATORIES Ltd 21 June 1971 [20 July 1970] 29023/71 Heading A5B [Also in Division G1] An antiserum for use in carrying out a pregnancy test may be obtained by absorbing a rabbit anti-HCG (human chorionic gonadotrophin) serum with normal human serum, centrifuging, mixing the supernatant with HCG and incubating to provide a material which contains HCG bound to anti-HCG, and using this to immunise rabbits. The antiserum so obtained may be diluted with boric acid saline and lyophilised.
