Abstract

1530590 Toy spinning top R TAYLOR 6 Feb 1976 [11 Nov 1974] 48723/74 Heading A6S A dart board includes a dart receiving sheet of resin-bonded fibrous thermoplastics material. Preferably the sheet is formed of a needled material of 30% polypropylene 70% nylon bonded with acrylic resin, and is received into a recess of a backing structure of structured foam material e.g. polypropylene, formed preferably by a low pressure injection moulding process, and formed at the outer run with numbers in conventional fashion. The sheet is preferably rotatable in the recess, being selectively positionable in any of a number of angular positions defined by apertures in the sheet where through fixing bolts extend from the backing structure to engage a conventional wire frame facing the sheet and designating scoring areas thereon. The dart receiving sheet may be formed as a laminate having a first layer as described and backed by a layer or pad of harder material.
