1468414 Upholstery securing OKE PLAST GmbH HAFTUNG OSNABRUCKER KUNSTSTOFFERZEUGNISSE [trading as OKE RAINER VON DER HEYDE & CO] 10 July 1974 [26 April 1974] 30474/74 Heading A4M [Also in Division B5] Upholstery material 16 is secured to a panel 10 by placing the material over an extruded plastics strip 1 provided with a flexible web 5 interconnecting two ribs 3, 4 and pinning or stapling through the material and the web into the panel such that the ribs are caused to move together to trap the material therebetween. The strip may be used to connect two pieces of material. A foam layer (21) Figs. 9 and 10 (not shown) may cover the panel and the strip may be disposed on the foam layer. The two ribs may be of kidney-shape and may be of different length.
