Abstract

1530026 Pressing cheese in moulds TEBEL MACHINEFABRIEKEN BV 25 March 1976 19188/77 Divided out of 1530024 Heading A2B [Also in Division B8] A pallet on to which filled cheese moulds 14 can be stacked in columns for transfer to a press comprises a whey collecting trough 5, a framework of upright guide members 8 defining the stacking columns, a vertically movable intermediate member 10 for supporting the columns, and an upper frame 8' provided with downwardly inclined strips or lips 9 for centring the moulds as they are lowered into place. The member10 may support carrier plates 11 and may have dogs or strips 13 which engage lifting strips 19 to permit the member 10 to be raised or lowered as the moulds are removed or deposited. A drainage valve 6 is provided in the trough 5. Specifications 1530024 and 1530025 having similar disclosures are directed to a method of pressing cheese and to a loading station for the moulds.
