Abstract

1374730 Discharging pallets STORK AMSTERDAM NV 14 June 1973 [20 June 1972] 28325/73 Heading B8C A pallet discharging apparatus comprises an upwardly movable support 2 for the pallet, guide members 4, 5 for at least the upper layer of the pallet and mounted on a common frame 8 which is horizontally movable to align with the position of the upper layer, and a pusher beam 6 to remove the top layer on to a table 7. The guide members comprise lower plates 4 converging upwardly and upper side plates 5. The frame 8 is mounted on conical supporting saucers 16 each bearing on a ball and can be held fixed by a brake shoe during removal of the upper layer. Each layer may be mounted on a tray which can be automatically removed, and a pair of side walls of which can be removed as in Specification 1,374,754.
