Abstract

1374754 Unpacking apparatus STORK AMSTERDAM NV 29 June 1973 [30 June 1972] 31216/73 Heading B8C In apparatus for discharging a pallet 3 bearing a stack of bottle-filled trays 18, each tray is aligned with a discharge position as the pallet is raised, and during this movement two opposed side walls engage a respective one of a pair of beams 19 which are then pushed outwardly by piston and cylinder units 21 and bell-cranks 20 to tear back the two side walls. Beam 6 is then pushed across the tray by piston and cylinder 12 to sweep the bottles on to a receiving table 7. The trays are guided into the discharge position by inclined side plates 4 on a frame 8 as the pallet is raised. This frame carries beam 6 and table 7 and is freely mounted on ball supports at 16.
