Abstract

The tray has rounded corners with its sides (1) and ends sloping inwards from top to bottom. The upper centre position (3) on each side is cut away to a lower height for aeration when stacked. Around the top is a continuous flat flange (2), its outer edges turned down. This arrangement permits nesting when empty. For stacking when full, a support (5) is provided each end. This is a flat portion with raised sides and flanged edges, also turned down, which fits each end of the tray and rests against the tray above. The supports can be separate or hinged as a flap.
