Abstract

A stackable transport container, particularly for fruit, vegetable or dairy products, is erected from a one-piece container blank 1 and has, at each of four corners, stack supports 13 formed of container blank portions, said stack supports serving the purpose of stiffening the container and having their upper edges 25 located at a lower level than the upper edges 36 of the adjacent portions of the walls of the container, so that when stacking two containers with one container being put into the other, the bottom of the upper container is resting on the stack supports of the lower container. Each stack support 13 may be pushed back into the planes of the corresponding outwardly inclined walls 3-6 so that empty containers can be rested in a space saving manner.
