Seed-distributors.-A band-operated seed drill comprises a wheel 1 carried on an axle 2 mounted in handles 3, the wheel being provided with a laterally extending wall 4 which, with an adjustable cap 6, forms the seed-box. The wall and the sides of the cap are provided with oppositely directed triangular apertures 7, 8 as shown in Fig. 6, so that by suitably adjusting the cap the drill may be set to deliver a desired number of seeds during each revolution of the wheel. An indicator 11 shows the adjustment of the cap both for size of seed and for number of deliveries per revolution. A tool 16 for forming the furrow is adjustably attached to the axle 2 and arms 17 for drawing soil on to the sown seed are adjustably mounted on the arms 3.
