Abstract

1529242 Electro-forming textured sheets VON ROLL AG 13 Feb 1976 [14 Feb 1975] 05855/76 Heading C7B A sheet-guiding foil for a printing machine is electro-formed by making a positive master by uniformly embedding into the surface of a support sheet a plurality of microscopic particles (e.g. glass balls 50-100 Ám dia.), coating the prepared surface with an electrically conducting layer (e.g. containing Ag or graphite), electro-forming a negative mould on the master and using this mould (which may be first chromate treated) to electro-form the final foil.
