Abstract

[Also in Division B5] In the forme production process disclosed in the parent case in which a design bearing sheet lines the internal surface of the hollow rotatable cylinder a uniformly thin air permeable layer is formed between the surface and the sheet. The layer may comprise a sheet of paper or hardened gelatine modules may be formed on the rear surface of the design sheet. Alternatively the rear surface may be roughened. The process may also include the step of air withdrawal forming the invention of Specification 1,110,216.
