Abstract

1,110,216. Printing plates. COURTAULDS Ltd. 18 Aug., 1965 [19 Aug., 1964], No. 33846/64. Addition to 1,045,674. Heading B6C. [Also in Division B5] In the forme production process disclosed in the parent case in which a design-bearing sheet lines the internal surface of the hollow rotatable cylinder air is withdrawn from the cylinder immediately after the insertion of the sheet. In a preferred sequence of operations the cylinder is rotated at high speed after the air is evacuated and then the air is allowed to reenter prior to the introduction of the casting material.
