Abstract
152,279. Barnes, J. E. L., (Central Oil & Gas Stove Co.). April 22, 1920. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Oil stoves.-In an oil heating-stove, the casing or drum 6 has a tapered or contracted part 6<c>, and the base 5 of the drum has a similar tapered or contracted part connected to the part 6<c>. Preferably these parts, which may be parallel, have flanges connected by overlapping them with the upper end of a perforated collar 7 which surrounds the burner 4 and rests on the lower edge of a screen 8 through which air passes to the flame. The base 5 and drum 6 rest on a casing 1 surrounding the reservoir 3, and may be connected to it by a hinge 5<a> and a fastening 5b. Apertures 9<a>, 9<b> in the part 5 enable the air to circulate in it and to pass to the burner. The screen 8 is preferably of perforated metal, and protects the wick tube and reservoir from the flame.
