Abstract

Seat adjustments; spring mountings for seats ; fixing furniture to floors.-A seat, particularly for use on vehicles, comprises an adjustable frame 1, secured to the floor by means such as are described in Specification 144,805, and a rectangular framework 8, 9 supported by springs 7 attached to the transverse members 8 within the longitudinal members 9. The seat is pivoted at 12 and is angularly adjustable as by means of slotted or perforated plates 15, 16 and the bolt 17. Rubber or pneumatic buffers may be used instead of the helical springs shown.
