Abstract

1521078 Propulsion units for cultivators MAQUINAS DE COSER ALFA SA 11 Dec 1975 50759/75 Heading B7H A walk-type motorized cultivator or mechanical digger includes a drive unit which is contained within a single housing, a first chamber of the housing including the crankshaft 5 and other parts of a 2-stroke engine, a second chamber including the shafts and gears 12, 13, 14 of a variable speed gear box and a third chamber including a clutch 11 and transmission 10 for transmitting crankshaft motion to the gear box. The housing comprises a single casing 1 internally divided by a partition 4 to one side of which cover 2 completes the first chamber and to the other side cover 21 complete the second chamber. The third chamber is formed by a cover 8 co-operating with easing 1 and cover 21. An output housing 15 mounts output gears 17 and a power take-off shaft 16 for driving tools of the cultivator.
