Abstract

This invention relates to a motor vehicle with a transmission mechanism 3 comprising a torque converter A, an engine 2 and a gear mechanism 8. The gear mechanism is provided at its output with a bevel pinion 9a to drive a transmission shaft 6 and a driving axle 4 of the vehicle. The bevel pinion 9a is located between the gear mechanism and the torque converter. This arrangement facilitates disposition of the torque converter and gear mechanism parallel to the driving axle of the vehicle. <IMAGE>
