1413672 Change speed gear ROTARY HOES Ltd 16 April 1973 [17 April 1972] 17548/72 Heading F2D A transmission gear, for driving the transverse tool shaft of a tractor-towed rotary cultivator from the longitudinally extending power take off of the tractor, comprises unequal (1 to 2) bevels 14, 24 on shafts 13, 23, the latter of which extends in both directions from the gear housing 10, and the latter, 10, can be mounted in alternative positions on the cultivator, whereby either end of the shaft 23, or the shaft 13, may act alternatively as driving or driven members to provide two output speeds in opposite directions.
