Abstract

1519740 Sampling and inspection device EGLINSKI GERATETECHNIK KG 5 March 1976 [7 March 1975] 08994/76 Heading B8N A device for sampling and inspecting hydraulic liquid in a closed hydraulic system comprises a housing 4 connected to the system with a valve 23, 24 to control the flow from the system to a transparent inspection cap 27 and a sampling device 44. The valve 23, 24 is manually operated when required and the hydraulic liquid flows via chambers 34, 37 in the cap for inspection. A pair of lamps (40), Fig. 1 (not shown), illuminate the liquid. Normally the liquid flow from the cap along ducts 38, 42 to a tank. When a sample of liquid is required a closure 54 is removed from the sampling device 44 and the spindle 50 turned to open a valve 51. A test tube is positioned under the sampling device to collect the liquid.
