1518702 Cutting foodstuffs S J LOBIONDO and J V LOBIONDO 1 July 1975 [7 Feb 1975] 27666/75 Heading A4C A meat slitting machine comprises a frame having two vertical supports 3, a plurality of toothed discs 4 mounted on a horizontal shaft 5 journalled in said supports 3, a meat table F removably mounted on said frame, a plurality of U-shaped elements 31 each extending between two adjacent discs 4, the ends of each element being secured to rigid connectors 30 which are adjustably secured to a rigid support plate 27 by parallel screws 33 and nuts 35, 36. In use, the meat G is placed on a chute 23 of the meat table F and is drawn through the machine by the discs 4, the depth of cut being controlled by the setting of U-shaped members 31. The setting of the chute 23 with respect to the toothed discs 4 is adjustable by means of screws 19 in posts 21.
