Abstract

1416714 Paper trimming device M MYERS & SON Ltd 16 April 1973 [28 June 1972] 30245/72 Addition to 1247681 Heading B4B A paper trimming machine as claimed in claim 1 of patent Specification 1,247,681, the machine further comprising means 29, 30, 33, 34 mounted on the base board for supporting a roll of paper 28 which is to be cut. The roll support means includes a pair of brackets 29, 30 having slots 29a to 29c and 30a to 30c in which the ends of bars 33, 34 are rotatable. The roll is positioned on the bars and as the free end of the roll is pulled over the cutting area the roll rotates together with the bars; the spacing of the bars may be altered to suit the size of roll.
