Rotary tables; work-holders; indexing. - A universal work-table for drilling, milling, and like machines comprises a stand A and a tilting frame carrying a rotary frame G. The frame D is adapted to be adjusted to any angle about a fixed hollow or solid shaft B by means of a scale and worm gearing N, P, and secured in adjusted position by a bolt T clamping split lugs on the frame around the fixed shaft. The rotary table is also provided with a scale and is secured in any position by bolts K engaging T slots in the table. The frame may also be provided with a fixed table F.
