Abstract

Pedestal stands.-Consists in an adjustable stand for a kinematograph projector or the like, comprising a rigid base f having an overhung front part f to which a platform e carrying the apparatus including, for example, a lamp a, projector b, and spool boxes c, d, is pivoted at g, so that the apparatus is practically balanced. The base has outwardly splayed front legs f<5>, and substantially vertical rear legs f<4>. Means for adjusting and securing the pivoted platform e comprises a set of rods i, h at the rear of the platform, passing through a cross-bar f<2> of the base; adjusting-nuts h<1> are provided on the rod h, and clamping-rings carried by bolts j operated by handnuts k surround the rods i.
