Optical-projection apparatus.-In optical-projection apparatus comprising a kinematograph projector and a mirror c and screen b in a cabinet a, the projector e is placed in a box f which, during projection, is in front of the lower part of the cabinet, and a mirror d is provided to reflect the projection beam upwards; the box mav be pushed into the lower part of the cabinet when the apparatus is not in use. As shown, the box f hangs from a stirrup h hinged to the floor of the cabinet, and two cords l, connected to the box at points m and n and passing over pulleys o and p, are provided to keep the box upright as it is being pushed into the cabinet. The mirror d is mounted on a plate q which is hinged to the back of the box, the upper end of the plate having a pin s which slides upwards in a groove r when the box is pushed in. The position of the pin s may, alternatively, be fixed on the back of the cabinet and the mirror may be pressed forwards by a spring.
